Chapter 3 Providing Recognition
Audio E-mail and video conferencing are the topics that attract my attention in chapter 3. I think it would be great for me to learn how to give an audio message of praise and/or encouragement thru an email. Students and parents could view/hear these emails and possibly be aware of our positive regard for them and their efforts. Again, good communication is good communication.

Creating audio files is easy and not dfficult to attach to an email. It is an interesting idea. When my son was in choir his music teacher would record the students when they were taking sight reading tests or being tested on their music. He would place those files in a secure place on his website. I could login and listen to my son's work. How many times do parents get the opportunity to do that? My son certainly wouldn't sing those things for me at home if I asked him to.
